It was a busy Lodge last night (7th April) for Pam Magee's'50th Birthday. This was a Social Lodge where the spread was provided by Linda Knapp, Pam and Colin Magee. The adjourned meeting started as couple of minutes late and we got through the business as soon as possible to allow us time to enjoy the food and the company of lots of Oddfellows. It was nice to see the PGM Sis. Linda Drakley, the IPGM Sis. Rita Wetherilt, Sis.Tereasa Dene and Sis. Susan Cutts who we have not seen for some time following her illness. There were many other Oddfellows there who also came to see the Avalon's last and therefore knew of the Social Lodge. Many said they will try to come in more often. Many brought small gifts and cards for Pam, at time she was overcome

The raffle was drawn by Pam, the Birthday Girl and read out by Stephen Howden who can be heard without a microphone. Lodge finished a little later than usual and the stragglers helped to put away the tables and chairs
