A Cheque was presented to Sis Vera James by
Bro Jim Meheau For her Chariity SSAFA

Sixty Six Members of the Lodges in the St Mary Cray and District attended the Flower of Kent Official Visit.
The raffle raised £65 for the SSAFA Charity. The Lodge was opened by Bro Jim Meheau standing in for Sis Linda Drakley who attended as a District Officer. Bro Stephen Howden stood in at IPNG. Each of the district officers did a small speech. Vera James spoke about being Provincial Grand Master for the third time, Sis Pam Magee spoke about Friendship Love and Truth, Prov CS Peter Clarke spoke about the importance of Ritual, Sis Linda Drakley gave us an insite to an item in the press about our Lodge in 1929.

Bro Jim adjourned the Lodge and Fish or Chicken or Scampi and Chips were served. There was also a free drink at the bar for all who attended. With the large number attending it was a time for a good chat to old friends and so many new ones.

At the end of the night the chairs and tables were put away.
