Over 70 guests went to the Flower of Kent Lodge room to be entertained by Mr Chan. During his performance he sang songs made famous by Roy Orbison, Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Neil Diamond and many, many others. He rounded off the night with party songs culminating in New York, New York this caused the dancers to form a circle and dance.

Pam, Colin and Linda catered a Ploughman's with salad followed by gateaux and other sweets. Marina and Fred ran the bar which was very busy most of the night. Bradley collected glasses keeping the bar well stocked.

There was a large raffle which Mr Chan assisted by calling out the numbers. Finally thanks were given to the Bar Staff, Caterers and Mr Chan for a wonderful evening. All were wished a safe journey home.

Mr Chan was asked to sing one more which allowed the dancers to have a final waltz. This was a great night and Mr Chan will be booked again by popular demand.

Following the success of this event, there will be more similar ones next year the of second of which will be on Saturday 3rd April 2010, with The Avalons, a husband and wife duo
