An Evening with Linda Jay at the Flower of Kent 16th October 2010

Another great night at the Flower of Kent with Linda Jay Entertains. What a night. There was a nice mixture of Singing, dancing and having a bit of fun. From the off the floor was full of dancers all having a good time. People were in stitches thanks to good sports of Bradley, Tom and Dave who performed the “Fully Monty” live to a packed audience. Earlier Tom Dave and Ralph played inflatable guitars and Sax, they really put everything into it. We were hoping to get Linda for the St Georges Day Disco but she is fully booked and no wonder.

Linda is a master of impersonation and dressed up and sung as Michael Jackson entering the room with a mask and glove to Thriller. She also impersonated Amy Winehouse, Tina Turner and many others. Her husband of 42 years provided the music for the evening on a sound system, Oddfellows often danced in the intervals, as she changed into the different outfits and when the lads were preparing for the Fully Monty.

Almost at the end of the evening we had the raffle, just eight quality items so the raffle was soon over and we could get back to the singing and dancing. At the evening Linda thanked the bar staff of Fred, Arthur and Marina, the caterers of Linda, Pam and Colin , she thanked the lads who had been good sports doing the Full Monty. Pam thanked Linda Jay for the great night. Linda Jay then wished all a safe journey home
