Christmas Lunch at the Thistle Hotel Brands Hatch on Sunday 13th December 2009

We all had a lovely lunch at the Thistle Hotel situated at the entrance of the Brands Hatch Racing Circuit. It was a lovely lunch where Santa arrived and had photographs taken with all of the children who attended, he also gave out presents, there was also a magician who did close magic at the tables. He also made balloon animals, Grace only six, asked for a Reindeer and he made one with red antlers which she called "Rudolf the Red Antler Reindeer".

Most of the twenty who attended were from the Flower of Kent and included Pearl who used to attend Lodge in the "old days". Pearl has moved back to the area, she is planning to come to Lodge regularly and we all look forward to seeing her.

The next lodge is the Christmas Lodge. All bring a plate (with food on it) and a present for a Blind Raffle. This is a really good fun night and we expect plenty of the usuals plus members from other lodges and perhaps one or two of our new members
